Driving engagement on LinkedIn

We’ve enjoyed working with private equity firm WestBridge for many years. As well as looking after their media relations and awards programme, we also write and distribute all their newsletters and manage their LinkedIn account.
In recent years LinkedIn has become increasingly important, with the WestBridge audience more engaged than ever before. A programme of regular, well-considered, posts resulted in a 50.77% rise in followers during 2024.
Newsletters are also a key part of the WestBridge marketing strategy. Last year, we wrote and distributed monthly newsletters and occasional news flashes, securing an average open rate of 36.39% compared to an industry average of 15.14%.
With a LinkedIn plan devised for the year ahead, we’re confident that the upward trajectory will continue. In fact, WestBridge’s first post of 2025 attracted the highest number of likes and comments ever and achieved an engagement rate of 11.49% … massively higher than the 1%-4% that LinkedIn itself considers to be good.
